• Worked in all types of industries on all types of businesses including micro, small, medium and massive mult-nationals.
• Collectively, hundreds of millions of dollars in growth has been added.

 

I fell into business coaching.

It kind of found me by accident.

Here’s how it happened.

I was at University ‘doing’ my Commerce Degree. And I was bored.

I was only doing ‘Uni’ because that’s what you’re supposed to do when you finish school. I guess I was just trying to please my parents by getting the ‘piece of paper’.

At the time my passion was to become a full time professional athlete. That’s where I thought my career would be.

So to keep things interesting a friend and I started a University sports club, and organised a couple of sporting events.

They went well.

My dad suggested that I had a ‘flair’ for business so he decided I should go and see a business seminar that was in town.

The seminar was $120, and I had to pay.

So I quickly decided not to go!

But, after a week or so I read the flyer again and the intrigue got the better of me.

I paid and went along.

That seminar changed my life.

Somewhere during that seminar I just knew I needed to work with business owners and help grow businesses.

From that moment on my life had purpose.

I had vision, focus and my goal.

And I was disciplined.

As well as my degree, I decided to find out who the best people were at building businesses and I learnt from them. I had some incredible worldclass mentors that took me ‘under-their-wing’ to hone my skills.

I think that it was in 1996 that I registered ‘Casey Gollan Marketing’ and started my business. I called myself a ‘Business Growth Specialist’.

In July 1996 I graduated from Deakin University Geelong with dual majors in Financial Accounting and Commercial Law.

I went from Uni straight into my own coaching business at 24 years of age. I had never worked a full time job. I had never worked in the business consulting or coaching industry. And I had no track record.

I just figured that I’d be good at coaching.

It turned out that ‘luck’ was on my side.

One of my first clients tripled her sales in the first couple of months. She was so happy. She decided to give me 48 referrals.

How do I know that it was 48?

Easy, she wrote their names, their business and their phone numbers down on a few sheets of paper and gave them to me to contact.

So I worked with her referrals and on I went – I was away!

Over the years I have worked with start up ‘mum and dad’ businesses to massive multi-nationals.

My approach is to personally ‘guide’ them through extraordinary growth. In essence I help business owners to make the right decisions at the right times to help their business grow. I cover all areas of a growing business as you'll see in my 'Business Growth Formula' video.

My approach is unique to each business, because every business is unique.

The business that I’ve personally worked with have, collectively, added hundreds of millions of dollars in growth.

And the business owners themselves have grown tremendously too.

Something pretty special happens to people when you show them how to reach their potential – and then personally guide them onto and along the ‘right-paths’ to achieve it.

And that’s what makes me tick.
